Let us introduce ourselves: we are Amanda Scriver and Britney Townsend, the writer and photographer tag-team duo behind the first edition of The Hunt Toronto. We were so excited to host our launch party at The Drake Hotel during 86’d Mondays hosted by Toronto writer, Ivy Knight!

Britney and I loved signing copies! So many folks in attendance asked us to sign on the page of our favourite venue, which was SO HARD to narrow down. We both felt a special connection to so many of these places, so it was incredibly difficult to choose just one – and at times we just signed on the back map!

Tons of our friends and restaurant pals joined us in launching the book, which truly made our hearts soar. Nothing like being supported by all your pals when putting together a project like this!

When it came to thinking of event sponsors, our first thought was of The Indie Ale House. Since Amanda lives in the Junction, it’s her go-to craft beer joint and they were more than happy to help us celebrate the launch of The Hunt Toronto.

All night, we were able to test out different craft beers from The Indie Ale House, who brought along newer brews and some of their most popular beers, including the Instigator!

The media industry in Toronto is tight-knit, and it’s so lovely when all of us can support one another doing great things.

We just love how beautiful the book turned out, and everyone wanted to get their hands on a copy!

A big thumbs up, indeed!
